Meet the Cake Lady!

Denise fell in love with the art of Cake Decorating after attending a local Wilton Cake decorating class in 2005.  Thereafter, her passion and expertise exploded. Through countless specialty classes taught by world-renowned sugar artists, she has refined her skills as a professional. Hand-painted sugar flowers, blown, pulled and poured sugar pieces and sculpted figurines help her sugar art stand apart. Denise participated in two TLC Ultimate Cake Challenges and has been a member and council representative for numerous cake societies. She has taught and demonstrated at the ICES Convention, That Takes The Cake Show and Cake Fest. She continues to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques to bring you the absolute best in sugar.

You will never find vegetable oil, shortening or imitation flavors in a Cakes So Special treat of art. That’s because we use only real sweet cream butter, fresh buttermilk and farm eggs. We deliver only the best of desserts and that starts with high-quality ingredients. You can be sure your guests will be blown away.
