| A wedding in Tuscany was the theme of Jamie's wedding. This very talented bride and her talented grandmother created the gorgeous bouquets, table arrangements, cake table and backdrop and a special set up for the groom's pumpkin pies! Jamie wanted a cascade of flowers that were colored in the jewel tones of plums, burnt oranges, deep golds, burgundies, greens, ivory and fall leaves too! Her cakes were butter pecan with cream cheese and chocolate with chocolate buttercream filling. Her 6" hex, 8" square, 14" round and 16" square cakes were decorated with a grape cluster impression and dusted to invoke the feeling of an old world Tuscan villa. Flickering candles dropped down each tier of the cake and their initials were at the top. Sugar Calla lilies, roses, clusters of grapes, twigs, hydrangea and fall leaves cascaded down the side of the cake in vibrant colors. The cake was on a plateau of glass that added that extra special touch. The cake served 237 guests while reserving the top tier for their first anniversary. |
