| Cherries in Bloom is an Oriental inspired cherry blossom cake with delicate luster pink silk fondant. An explosion of hand shaped gum paste cherry blossom branches decorated the tiers and the top. The cakes were a 6" butter pecan hexagon cake on a 9" French Vanilla with cream cheese on a 12" hexagon French Vanilla with cherry filling on a 14" round butter pecan cake filled with cream cheese. The cakes served 159 guests while reserving the top for Debbie and Bob's first anniversary. A special thank you to the Holiday Inn on Walton Road for providing a room for this wedding. It was supposed to be at a venue that was damaged in Hurricane Ike. The Holiday Inn arranged for the Houston and Austin Rooms so that Debbie and Bob could still have the wedding of their dreams.
